EVA bxl participated for three years in the action research CitizenDev. The study found that the majority of Brussels residents do not have access to decision-making procedures, are at odds with the government and face discrimination. The key question of this research: how to involve these people in the development of their neighborhood? <\/strong><\/p>\n

A handful of field workers and researchers and a number of key figures went to work on this question in three Brussels communities. Their mission: to grow a culture of civic initiative and solidarity from the bottom up. Their code words: valorize, connect, self-manage, group analysis, political interpellation… Their results: enough to fill an entire publication.
