During the school vacations, they are not on the shop floor, but we use that time to strengthen them with relevant training.<br \/>\nDuring the crocus vacations, our Baobab students participated in the <strong>Omstaander training<\/strong> of the <strong>Integration and Integration Agency<\/strong>, offered by the <strong>FCC<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIn this training, they worked around themes such as: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>recognizing (sexually) transgressive behavior<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of own frames of reference and unconscious biases<\/li>\n<li>Respond appropriately in cases of discrimination, racism or inappropriate behavior<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We all know it: you feel that something is not right, but you don&#8217;t react. By giving students tools to intervene, we strengthen their self-confidence and their role as an active bystander.<br \/>\nIt was a valuable moment of exchange, reflection and reinforcement.
