Starting with people who missed educational opportunities and still want to get a degree in higher education that matches their talents and ambitions. And with newcomers for whom re-entering higher education is the best way to find a good place in our society. Together for a Diploma connects students with a mentor, an experienced person who guides them along the route like a companion during one academic year.   <\/p>\n<p>Together for a Diploma mobilizes the talents of Brussels residents, responding to staff shortages in the welfare and care sector, a more diverse workforce and more diversity in leadership positions and boards of directors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Would you like to reenter higher education?<\/strong>  Want to make up for missed study opportunities? A mentor can help you do this and offer advice from his or her experience. Also always welcome at an info session (see opposite)  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you personally experienced what it was like to go back to college as an adult? <\/strong>Have you yourself experienced barriers in higher education and want to share this knowledge with us or inspire potential students? <strong>Become an<\/strong> <strong>ambassador<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/evabxl.be\/en\/vacature\/become-an-ambassador-of-together-for-a-diploma\/\">read more info here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Together for a Diploma in Brief<br \/>\n<\/strong>This movement is supported by volunteers who realize the importance of educational opportunities and consists of <strong>five building blocks<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mentoring<\/strong>: each student will have a mentor for one academic year as a companion the route at the side<\/li>\n<li><strong>Networking<\/strong>: training and meeting activities enrich yourself and your social relationships<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ambassadors<\/strong>: role models sensitize citizens who have neither information nor knowledge in their own network about the possibilities to still continue studying<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language reinforcement mentoring <\/strong>for those for whom academic Dutch is a stumbling block<\/li>\n<li><strong>Study areas <\/strong>that are accessible outside office hours and where studying together is possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We move forward together. With the wisdom of students, mentors, ambassadors and partners, we advocate for inclusive measures in lifelong learning.
