{"id":10044,"date":"2026-10-25T16:24:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-25T15:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evabxl.be\/vacature\/fabruka-is-looking-for-a-social-enterprise-advisor-and-an-administrative-and-financial-manager\/"},"modified":"2026-10-25T16:24:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-25T15:24:10","slug":"fabruka-is-looking-for-a-social-enterprise-advisor-and-an-administrative-and-financial-manager","status":"publish","type":"vacature","link":"https:\/\/evabxl.be\/en\/vacature\/fabruka-is-looking-for-a-social-enterprise-advisor-and-an-administrative-and-financial-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Fabruka is looking for a Social Enterprise Advisor and an Administrative and Financial Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Solidarit\u00e9 des Alternatives Wallonnes et Bruxelloises (SAW-B) is a federation of social enterprises that brings together more than 120 members.<\/h2>\n<p>We are building a movement that proposes an economic and social alternative.<\/p>\n<p>Our activities are structured around three missions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Influencing<\/strong>: Being a critical yet constructive voice in the public debate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support<\/strong>: Strengthening the impact and sustainability of social enterprises.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovation<\/strong>: serving as a research and experimentation laboratory for social enterprises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among other things, SAW-B coordinates FABRUKA, the Brussels social initiatives incubator: a large-scale collaborative project funded by the ERDF and Innoviris (Brussels-Capital Region).<\/p>\n<p>FABRUKA (www.fabruka.be) is a partnership of six social organizations active in Brussels that specialize in social innovation (SAW-B, COOPCITY, EVA bxl, Le Forum, Financit\u00e9, and Cr\u00e9dal).<\/p>\n<p>Together with community-based organizations and citizen collectives, Fabruka identifies unmet social needs, devises concrete solutions, and helps build collective projects that have a social impact.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To strengthen our team, we are looking for a versatile bilingual employee (French\/Dutch) to fill a dual role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>SOCIAL ENTERPRISE COORDINATOR AND ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL MANAGER (M\/F\/X)<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Purpose of the function<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>Overseeing projects during Fabruka\u2019s structuring phase (0.6 FTE) and managing the administrative and financial affairs of the Fabruka consortium (0.4 FTE).<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Role within the organization<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>The coordinator is part of the Fabruka team in Brussels and works with the project&#8217;s partner organizations on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>He or she will also collaborate with the SAW-B team, which is organized according to the principles of participatory governance<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong> <\/strong><strong>Key Responsibilities  <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>As a social enterprise mentor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project coordinators provide guidance and support in structuring their projects and ensuring their long-term sustainability. This includes, among other things:\n<ul>\n<li>Creating a solid foundation for the project (vision, mission, and values)<\/li>\n<li>Develop an efficient participatory governance structure (both for the project and, later, for the company)<\/li>\n<li>Assessing the feasibility of the project (including oversight of the testing phase)<\/li>\n<li>Developing a sustainable economic model<\/li>\n<li>Develop a marketing strategy and, if necessary, conduct market research<\/li>\n<li>Developing a Communication Plan<\/li>\n<li>Developing an Action Plan<\/li>\n<li>Work with the funding advisors to develop a funding strategy (identifying funding sources, fundraising, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial plans, cash flow statements, reports, and articles of incorporation based on existing models.<\/li>\n<li>Project coordinators provide coaching throughout the entire development of their project, so that they can validate their idea, test their solutions in practice, and ensure the project\u2019s long-term sustainability (by stabilizing teams and securing funding sources).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As an administrative and financial manager:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor grant applications, including by preparing supporting documentation and tracking the progress of project results (ERDF and Innoviris)<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the semi-annual financial reports, assist in the preparation of activity reports, and enter them into EFRO\u2019s Salesforce platform<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for coordinating the various partners in the areas of data collection, information exchange, and document sharing<\/li>\n<li>Manage and, where necessary, improve the tracking tool for activities within the Fabruka project<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of tools for budgetary and financial monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Manage expenditures in accordance with ERDF procedures, including: managing all public procurement contracts and framework agreements, managing the cash fund, and overseeing other administrative procedures<\/li>\n<li>Arranging Contracts and Volunteer Reimbursements<\/li>\n<li>Work with colleagues to ensure the link between European projects and SAW-B\u2019s other budgetary and administrative activities<\/li>\n<li>Drafting Meeting Minutes<\/li>\n<li>File required documents electronically and on paper in accordance with the requirements of the funding agencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To carry out these assignments, he or she can rely on the additional expertise of colleagues. To provide guidance on project structuring, he or she works closely with a financing advisor and is part of the \u201cStructuring and Financing\u201d team (5 people). <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Desired Profile<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The selected candidate holds a master\u2019s degree in a management-related field.
