Would you like to work with children in Brussels? <a href=\"https:\/\/evabxl.be\/en\/project\/de-baobab\/\">De Baobab<\/a> is here to help you make that happen!   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As a working student, you\u2019ll combine your bachelor\u2019s degree in early childhood education or elementary education with hands-on experience at a Brussels elementary school, so that after four years, you\u2019ll be ready to teach a class on your own.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Baobab is an initiative developed by <strong>EVA bxl,<\/strong>the social lab of and for Brussels residents.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>What to expect.  <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be employed full-time<\/li>\n<li>Three days a week, you&#8217;ll work at a Dutch-language elementary school alongside a mentor teacher.<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;ll attend the program two days a week\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cBachelor\u2019s Degree in Early Childhood Education\u201d at Erasmus University College Brussels or<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Elementary Education&#8221; at Odisee Brussels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"TextRun SCXW148076296 BCX0\" lang=\"NL-BE\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW148076296 BCX0\">You&#8217;ll be part of a close-knit team of Baobab students who are all following the same program.  <\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW148076296 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":200,\"335559740\":276}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li>You will receive one-on-one guidance from a professional coach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>What do we expect from you?  <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Model 2 good conduct and morals<\/li>\n<li>Be a resident of the Brussels-Capital Region or the Brussels suburbs<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"TextRun Highlight SCXW97693315 BCX0\" lang=\"NL-BE\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW97693315 BCX0\">Secondary education diploma (awarded through the 2024\u20132025 school year) or secondary <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW97693315 BCX0\">secondary education teaching qualification<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW97693315 BCX0\"> 4 (awarded starting with the 2024\u20132025 school year) or associate\u2019s degree<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW97693315 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li>Sufficient proficiency in Dutch: C1<\/li>\n<li>Any other language is an added value<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>What do we offer?  <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A full-time contract<\/li>\n<li>Full commuting allowance<\/li>\n<li>Working with an experienced mentor teacher at one of our partner schools<\/li>\n<li>Guidance from our pedagogical coach<\/li>\n<li>Exchange with other Baobab students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><strong>Recruitment procedure  <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7293 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/evabxl.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/De-Baobab-300x218.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"218\"><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u270d\ufe0fVul <a href=\"https:\/\/evabxl.be\/en\/application-formdebaobab\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> fill in the application form<\/li>\n<li>We will check if you meet the criteria and then contact you as soon as possible<\/li>\n<li>Do you qualify?
