KureghemNET

In 1999, KureghemNET was started by EVA bxl with the goal of creating better employment opportunities and promoting social cohesion and communication among residents. Residents, especially young people, sometimes came to the community center to ask if they could use the computer. This gave practitioners the idea of creating a meeting place where residents could go with their digital hunger: KureghemNET, a workshop with an extensive PC infrastructure, linked to a training project. Since 2006, KureghemNET has been part of Maks vzw. Maks vzw encourages residents of Brussels to look for their talents and competencies.
