Solidarity neighborhood

EVA bxl was the driving force behind the project solidaire buurt – quartier solidaire in which we developed a solidarity network. The network strengthens people’s personal network and contributes to a higher quality of life. The campaign “Bienvenue au quartier du bonjour” was the first step to connect local residents. The next stage was to create solidarity between neighbors through a “living platform” of key figures, local residents and social organizations.

This project (informal neighborhood care) connected to the Zorgproeftuinen Vlaanderen, more specifically the Care Pilot Garden Active Care Neighborhood, which was supported by the Institute for Science and Technology. In the platform, Brussels collaborated with Antwerp.
