Preschool teacher in training (x/f/m)
Do you dream of a job as a preschool teacher in Brussels? The Baobab wants to help you get there! We offer you a full-time job to combine work and study.
The Baobab is an initiative developed by EVA bxl,the social lab of and for Brussels residents.
What to expect.
- You will be employed full-time on a GECO contract and/or at a school.
- For three days a week, you will work in a Dutch-speaking kindergarten with a mentor teacher.
- Two days a week you follow the course ‘ Educational Bachelor Kindergarten Education’ at Erasmus Hogeschool Brussels.
- You will be part of a close-knit team going through the same journey.
- You will be individually supervised by an EVA bxl pedagogical coach.
What do we expect from you?
- Model 2 good conduct and morals
- Be domiciled in the Brussels-Capital Region (throughout the entire route) or the outskirts of Brussels
- Diploma of secondary education (awarded through the 2024-2025 school year), diploma of secondary educational qualification 4 (awarded from the 2024-2025 school year) or graduate degree
- Sufficient language proficiency in Dutch: entry level minimum C1 achieved
- Any other language is an added value

Recruitment procedure

- If necessary, take a Dutch language test at the House of Dutch Brussels.
- Do you qualify? Then we will invite you for a selection interview
- After selection, you will have a day of trial and interview with the elementary school of employment.
